I’m an executive coach, career coach and mentor, specialising in working with women. A trainer, author, public speaker, and business owner. I’ve experienced challenges at work and in the role of social work manager, with issues around inequality. It’s part of the reason I love working with women. I know what you’re going through and I can promise that things are better on the other side.

My purpose is to change the world one woman at a time by enabling women to make a greater contribution. I guide women, particularly social workers, to appreciate their special talents and increase their resilience and resourcefulness, all of which helps them to self-empower and perform with more confidence.

I enable women to empower themselves

Being a woman isn’t easy sometimes. There are inner and structural obstacles that may hold you back, and at times little support from the people around you. I began to ask, “Is this all there is?"

When I got a coach, my perspective on what I could achieve changed for the better.

I’ve made it my aim to enable professional women, particularly those in social work related organisations, to become much more effective. This is your opportunity to enhance your resilience and step into your personal power.

As a coach and mentor, nothing pleases me more than seeing a woman reach the end of her programme feeling stronger and more self-assured, having tackled the issues that brought her to coaching or mentoring. I know how good it feels to triumph over particular issues, re-energise and thrive in your role. And I have considerable experience working with women managers, especially those in social work related organisations and charities.

I’m a real person!

I enjoy doing things that modern women do - yoga, reading, keeping fit, theatre, movies, stand-up comedy – as well as interviewing and writing about inspirational women.

My biggest love is travelling to places such as Thailand and Vietnam – and I can't forget Brazil, where I spent a year teaching English.

Alongside all of this, I support a number of causes to do with women’s empowerment, children and young people, including Womankind Worldwide, National Deaf Children's Society, Centre Point, Water Aid and the Women’s Equality Party.

So you see I am, like you, unique, yet an everyday woman. I’m keen to help you realise your personal power to be the best you can be at work or in moving your career forward.
